In this dance, Barong represents the good character, while Rangda represents the evil character. The dance is performed beautifully by Balinese dance experts, telling the story of an endless fight between good and bad spirits. Barong is a protector spirit, and Rangda is a destroyer spirit. Uluwatu Temple, known locally as Pura Luhur Uluwatu, is one of Bali's most important and spectacular sea temples. This is the last tourist attraction we will visit during the Bali Kintamani and Uluwatu Tour. It is located in Pecatu Village, in the South Kuta District of the Badung Regency. The name "Uluwatu" comes from two words: "Ulu" means land's end, and "Watu" means rock. This perfectly describes the temple, as it sits on the very edge of a giant cliff. Even more remarkable than the temple itself is its spectacular location, perched on a steep cliff 70 meters above the roaring waves of the Indian Ocean.
