Taman Ayun Temple is built on flat land surrounded by a large, scenic fish pond, making the entire complex look as if it is floating on the water. This is the fifth and final site we will visit during our Bali Kintamani and Tanah Lot Tour. Tanah Lot Temple is a sacred Balinese Hindu sanctuary perched beautifully on a large rock in the middle of the ocean. This temple is exceptionally breathtaking during sunset. You can view the temple from several excellent vantage points, each offering spectacular views of the sea and the setting sun. When the tide is high, the temple is completely surrounded by seawater, making it look as if it is floating out on the ocean.
